It is possible to make money on the internet. For that matter, it is possible to make money anywhere.
To make money, no matter where, there are certain rules that you must follow. It does not matter what some people are telling you. These rules are the same for any type of business:
One: You must have a product no matter what the product is.
Two: You must have a market or target group for that product.
What differs from business to business is:
One: The product.
Two: Where you source it.
Three: Your target market.
Four: The way you sell it.
Just remember that there is no such thing as a free meal ticket not in a capitalist society and certainly not legally.
There are many people telling you that you can make money without doing anything. That is just not true. What they probably meant to say is that you can make money with little physical effort.
A farmer who produces potatoes for the market does a lot more work to get it to the market than the green grocer at the corner shop who sells it to the public and probably make more money than the farmer does.
In any Business, you must analyse the market and the environment. Without knowing your product and your target market you will not make serious money.
Knowing only one of the two is not good enough. You may know ice machines very well, but that does not mean that you will be able to sell ice machines to the Eskimos.
You must spend some time investigating the products you want to sell and be sure that you sell it to the right market.
A big businessperson does not do all the work himself. He relies on skilled people he can trust to do most of the work for him. You must look for those skilled people who have done this before and see what they have that you can use.
Another way of looking at it is to look for a partner who has done it before. Why re-invent the wheel.
Make use of the internet and the available technology and systems. That is why it is there.
Trust in your own abilities and believe in yourself.
Do not be in a hurry to start. Rather make sure that when you start, you have everything in place so that you can follow through. Above all do not give up too soon; it takes more time than you expect.
